Your Local Hair Salon Can Deal With All Types of Hair Textures
What’s Your Hair Texture?
When carrying out your hair care routine, do you consider your hair type? A quality product can be useful, but knowing your hair type is the real answer to all your hair maintenance quandaries. By creating a method that matches your hair type, you can control how easy or difficult your morning routine works out to be. Not sure how to do that? Consult with your local hair salon for help! This post will go into the different hair types. Take a look to see what describes yours.
Curly Hair
Curly hair can contain loose, bouncy loops or be tight and springy, which have some shine but are likely to frizz at the first sign of humidity. Coily hair, commonly referred to as Afro-textured, is typically dry and porous and can be soft and fine or coarse and wiry. Strands form very tight, small curls from the scalp and are prone to shrinking, so you will see a difference in length from wet to dry.
Coarse Hair
Having coarse hair is more than just having thick strands. While hair thickness refers to the number of hairs on the scalp or density, hair coarseness refers to the width of each strand. This hair type can be frizzy or rough and dry to the touch. It is also strong and difficult to style. It is sometimes known in the hairdressing business as stubborn hair. But with the right hair care routine, you can tame the rough strands and make your hair feel soft and smooth.
Fine Hair
Just the opposite of coarse hair, with fine hair, the circumference of each strand is small. Just because you have fine hair, it doesn’t mean you have thin hair. You can have a thick head of fine hair. If you have a lot of strands on your head, you will have thick hair. If your hair appears translucent, lacks volume, seems lightweight, and doesn’t hold a hairstyle, you are likely to have fine hair.
